    Luke MacMillan earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University and his Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the Bard College Conservatory. While at Bard, he studied with Dawn Upshaw and the late Sanford Sylvan. Since moving to New York City, he has performed with various groups, including The Knights, Utopia Opera, The Collegiate Singers of New York, and the Greenwich Choral Society. He has also been seen in leading operatic roles at the Tanglewood, Ravinia, Skaneateles, and Brevard Music Festivals.

    Aside from his pursuits in music, Luke has spent much time working with theater companies, and was a founding member of the Wisconsin based Greyfell Theater Company. He was awarded the 2014 Fred Gaines Award for his original play, Somewhere North. In an effort to remain a well-rounded human being, Luke enjoys hiking, baking, musicology, and WW2 biographies.
