Katherine Redlus

  • Program Development Assistant

Katherine Redlus received her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance and a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology from New York University, where she studied with her long time teacher and mentor, Rita Costanzi. She then moved to Los Angeles and graduated with a Master of Music in Harp Performance from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, where she studied with JoAnn Turovsky. While living in Los Angeles, she began delving into more new, avant-garde and cross-genre music. In 2015/2016, she performed on harp with the award-winning ensemble Four Larks in their imaginative and highly acclaimed two productions of The Temptation of St. Antony and in the 2017 production of Undine. As a vocalist, harpist and composer, her interests include new music, avant-garde performance and working with harp and electronics. She successfully funded her first Kickstarter campaign in March-April 2018 to create an album for electroacoustic harp, voice, and electronics.
