Diane Marshall has been involved with the choral community for over 30 years. As a life-long Oregonian until moving to the state of Washington in 2000, she sang with the Eugene Concert Choir as well as Eugene's opera and symphony choruses, under the baton of such distinguished conductors as Marin Alsop and Helmut Rilling. She also served as a Choir Board member, as General Manager, and as chair of various Choir projects. In 2000, she moved to Seattle to assume a position as Tour Manager for ACFEA Tour Consultants. She worked for the company for 5 years and during that time managed tours for choirs, bands and orchestras that traveled all over the world. In this capacity, she had the opportunity to visit some of the world's most compelling performance sites in Europe and in Australia.
Since 1997, she has coordinated the travel plans for the Jonathan Griffith Singers, serving as liaison between the tour company and the tour participants. She has performed with the Choir in Italy, the Czech Republic, Barcelona, Paris and southern France and, most recently, Rome and Pisa. She now resides on the Long Beach Peninsula in southwest Washington with her husband, Fred, and their dog Jetty. She has been involved in musical productions there and serves as Booking Chairperson on the Board of the Peninsula's annual Water Musical Festival, held in October, and its Jazz and Oysters Festival, held in August.
