DCINY Expands Operations DCINY has added a new member to its program development team - Jeffery R. Thyer. DCINY is proud to welcome Mr. Thyer, a dynamic choral music industry business professional who will help guide DCINY's continued growth.
DCINY Program Developer "Jeffery is an enormous asset to the Program Development Team," said Co-founder and General Director, Iris Derke. "His extensive knowledge concerning the American choral world through his valuable experience at ACDA, and his passion for excellence with client services will offer great things to DCINY. We are very excited to have him join us, and look forward to his many contributions."
Bio of Jeffery R. Thyer

As Program Developer at DCINY, Thyer will be responsible for all facets of business and concert series development, including new market segments, and managing the existing client base. Thyer made his mark in the music production world at the American Choral Directors Association National Headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK where he served as the Conference Consultant and Division Liaison to the Association's seven regional divisions and assisted in the planning of eighteen national and divisional conferences.

Thyer holds a Master of Music degree in choral conducting from Ball State University (Muncie, Indiana) and a church music degree from Indiana Wesleyan University (Marion, Indiana). 

DCINY Productions In just two short years, DCINY has joined the ranks of major classical music production companies in America, nearly doubling its roster of participating ensembles and attracting high quality talent domestically and internationally. In less than two short concert seasons, DCINY has presented 21 concerts ranging from solo and chamber music recitals in Weill Recital Hall and Zankel Hall, at Carnegie Hall, to North American and World Premieres by internationally recognized composers Karl Jenkins and Eric Whitacre in Isaac Stern Auditorium, Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center. DCINY has produced concerts in many of New York's famous venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center and The Town Hall, as well as other NYC concert halls.
