On Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM, Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) is pleased to present an afternoon of sacred choral masterpieces by Haydn and Mozart at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

The Distinguished Concert Singers/Orchestra International, comprised of auditioned musicians from around the country, together with the remarkable Texas Master Chorale, will be performing Haydn's Mass No. 9 in C Major ("Paukenmesse") Hob. XXII, under the direction of Guest Conductor Mr. Brad Bouley. The second portion of the program will feature one of Mozart's most popular, respected works, and his last composition, the Requiem in D Minor, K.626. Mozart's Requiem will be performed under the expert baton of Maestro Jonathan Griffith, featuring special solo performances by celebrated vocalists, Cynthia Douglas (soprano), Erin Elizabeth Smith (mezzo), Steven Sanders (tenor), and Noel Bouley (bass).

Co‐founder of Distinguished Concerts International New York, Dr. Jonathan Griffith is an active conductor, educator, lecturer, and consultant. His many conducting credits in this country and abroad include the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Manhattan Philharmonic, New England Symphonic Ensemble, and The European Symphony Orchestra. Maestro Griffith received his B.M.E from the University of Kansas, an M.M.E. from Wichita State University, and his D.M.A. in Conducting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Mr. Brad Bouley is founder and Artistic Director of the Texas Master Chorale, which is already in its eighteenth season. The auditioned Chorale performs primarily major choral/orchestral music including major classical sacred works by Handel, Haydn, Bach, Brahms, Mozart, and Beethoven. Mr. Bouley was educated at the University of Oklahoma and Sam Houston State University in Music Education and Conducting. He is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, ADCA, TCDA, TMEA, and TMAA, and is active throughout the state as a choral adjudicator and clinician.

In just two short years, DCINY has joined the ranks of major classical music production companies in America, nearly doubling its roster of participating ensembles and attracting high quality talent domestically and internationally. In less than two short concert seasons, DCINY has presented 21 concerts ranging from solo and chamber music recitals in Weill Recital Hall and Zankel Hall, at Carnegie Hall, to North American and World Premieres by internationally recognized composers Karl Jenkins and Eric Whitacre in Isaac Stern Auditorium, Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center.
