What People Said

Hank Dahlman, DMA, Director, Choral Studies, Wright State University
Thank you for the outstanding experience last week in New York. It was a distinct pleasure working with you both, and with your entire staff over the past year, preparing for our performance of the Mozart Solemn Vespers at Carnegie Hall last Sunday.
From start to finish, and from top to bottom, DCINY runs a first-class operation in every way. Your insights concerning a wide range of musical and extra-musical issues, including repertoire, recruiting, transportation, lodging, financing, public & media relations were always timely, relevant, and helpful. Your materials were clear and informative. Liaison with our management team and the DPO office was consistent, clear, and professional at all times. In addition, your enthusiasm, creativity, and encouragement for our project was highly appreciated, not just by me, but by all of us involved, and contagious.

During our residency, all to whom I spoke were impressed by DCINY's high level of professionalism and organization, combined with genuine warmth and courtesy of all of your staff, not only to me, but to our entire group. Orchestral musicians (led by the outstanding concert master Jorge Avila), and soloists were of a very high caliber, and always a joy to work with. Your operations staff, led by Peter Huitzacua, are top-notch, highly professional, detail-oriented, and wonderful to work with.

As a guest conductor, I appreciate the professional and artistic way that DCINY approached this event. The concert was well-planned and executed in a professional manner. Rehearsal were well-timed and well-spaced. In a word, we were all very well "taken care of." It is obvious that for DCINY, musical and educational values come first. Bravo!

Many of my singers have remarked how this was a lifetime dream for them come true. Thank you for providing them (and me) with a wonderful experience that none of us will ever forget.

I will sing your praises to all I know, and feel free to quote me!

Melissa A Barnes, Choral Director, Jacksonville, FL

I just wanted to say "Thank you" for all of your hard work in organizing such a wonderful and exciting event for the children last weekend. My entire group of parents, as well as students, was very impressed with how well the event was organized and how wonderful the concert was. It was the experience of a lifetime for my students to work with Mr. Dailey and perform at Carnegie Hall. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to participate.
