Considered a national treasure in his native Wales, awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen in 2005, yet not well known on this side of the Atlantic, composer and conductor Karl Jenkins is about to raise his profile in the U.S. with a concert of his music in Isaac Stern Auditorium/Ronald O. Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall on Monday, January 21, 2008, at 8 p.m.

PISA, Italy.  It's been twenty years since the worldwide declaration proclaiming the Cathedral Duomo of Pisa's Public Square, the Piazza,  as a worldwide national monument and entered it officially on the World Heritage List. A wonderful concert was held commemorating the anniversary.

It was a successful and enjoyable time had by all in San Antonio, Texas during conventions held by the Texas Bandmaster’s Association, the Texas Choral Director's Association and the Texas Orchestra Director's Association from July 20-26, 2007.

DCINY was honored to be an exhibitor at the June 6-9, 2007 Chorus America conference in Los Angeles based at the Biltmore Hotel. Valuable seminars and workshops were offered to all attendees and performances by invited choirs were top notch, including the LA Master Chorale at breathtaking Disney Hall.
