Whitacre announces Paradise Lost Alto Scholarship Winners

Today, Eric Whitacre announced the two final winners of the Paradise Lost Scholarships: Evangelyna Etienne from Malden, Mass, and Lauren Collis from Ontario, Canada. They will join Grammy-Award winning soloist Hila Plitmann as well as a chorus of exceptional singers for DCINY's production of Whitacre's Paradise Lost (concert version).

On his blog, SoaringLeap.com, Whitacre commended all the entrants: "Congratulations to all of the altos who applied; it truly was an exceptional group of women!"
