Cresskill High School Vocal Ensemble (NJ)
The Cresskill High School Vocal Ensemble is the premier audition-only
vocal performance group at Cresskill High School. The Cresskill High
School Vocal Ensemble performs a variety of literature, from classical
to jazz to pop, regularly performing within the community throughout the
school year. The Vocal Ensemble has performed at Carnegie Hall, New
York in 2008 and 2010.
John Von Glahn is serving his 20th year teaching in the Cresskill
Public Schools. During his tenure, the Vocal Music Department has
performed at: Sea World, Orlando, Florida; Walt Disney World, Orlando,
Florida; Carnegie Hall, New York. Mr. Von Glahn has served as guest
conductor for the 2000 MEBCI Middle School Chorus and the 2010 MEBCI
High School Chorus. Mr. Von Glahn received a B. M. in Music Performance
from William Paterson University of New Jersey and a M. S. in Vocal
Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University where he
studied with Dr. Stephen Town and Dr. Richard Weymuth.

T. Rudick

Jay High School Jazz Choir (OK)
The Jay High School Jazz Choir is the select group at JHS. Students
must audition to be a part of this group. Some Jazz Choir members are
All-District Honor Choir, All-State Honor Choir and National Cherokee
Youth Choir members. Several have traveled to Europe on concert tours
as well as a pervious trip to NYC to sing in Carnegie Hall. This group
receives excellent ratings at contests. Three currant members will be
on vocal scholarships next year as they begin their college career.
Tonya Rudick has been the director of choirs for Jay Public
Schools in Jay, OK for 23 years. Mrs. Rudick is a 1987 graduate of
Northwest Missouri State University. Mrs. Rudick is a member of NAfME,
OMEA, ACDA, and OCDA. She and her husband, Mike, have been staff
members for the Oklahoma Ambassadors of Music since 2001. Every other
summer they travel to Europe on a concert tour with high school students
from all over the state of Oklahoma. Mrs. Rudick lives on a 110 acre
farm with cows, horses, and sheep. The Rudick's have 4 children and 8
grandchildren.

Kearney High School Chamber Choir (MO)
The KHS Chamber Choir is comprised of 31 talented students. These
students are the most involved students at KHS. Musical accomplishments
include membership in All-District and All-State Choirs, SWACDA honor
choirs, consistent "I" and "II" ratings at district and state levels,
nominees for musical theatre performances by Blue Star program, and
invitations to sing for the Missouri MEA convention in 2006 and 2010 and
at Carnegie Hall in 2008 and 2010. These students are active in
National Honor Society, Debate/Forensics, Fine Arts Academy, Scholars
Academy, Starlight Stars, Art Club, athletics, drama, sports acrobatics,
dance, band, student council, and teacher cadets.
Jason Elam currently teaches in Kearney, Missouri, where he
has taught for the past ten years. Mr. Elam received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Music Education from Northwest Missouri State
University in 1997, and Master's Degree in 2001. As an educator, Mr.
Elam has taught for the past fifteen years in the Raymore-Peculiar,
Harrisonville, Chillicothe, and Kearney School Districts. He enjoys
co-directing musicals at Kearney. Jason serves as the music director for
the Starlight Stars Program at Starlight Theatre. He hopes to inspire
his students to achieve their goals and dreams just as his teachers
inspired him.

KHORIKOS (NY)
KHORIKOS was founded by Mr. Jesse Mark Peckham in December 2005 in order to promote an environment for an a cappella ensemble in which artistic independence, commercial autonomy, and aesthetic excellence are paramount. KHORIKOS cultivates distinctive interpretations of musical works ranging from medieval polyphony to contemporary sound sculpture and has quickly gained a reputation for excellent programming and stunning performances. In 2008, the ensemble toured the Czech Republic as a part of the Svatovaclavsky Festival and performed the New York Premiere of Eric Whitacre's "Nox Aurumque" in 2009. In the spring of 2010, KHORIKOS released its first CD, "Modern Masters," which was nominated for Best Classical A Cappella Album for the 2011 CASA Music Awards. During the summer of 2011, KHORIKOS was invited to perform at the Kennedy Center, Avery Fisher Hall and the Wang Theater in Boston as a part of the "Songs of Life Festival" and the World Premiere of "A Melancholy Beauty."

Linn High School Choir (MO)
The choirs of Linn High School have consistently earned superior ratings at State Music Contest. Linn, Missouri has been recognized by the American Music Conference as one of the top 100 Communities in America for Music Education. Linn Choirs have been represented with members in District and All-State Choirs, as well as regional and national ACDA Honor Choirs. In 2004 the Linn Choir performed in the Music Maestro New York Music Festival, in 2007 performed at St. Paul's Chapel near the WTC site and in 2010 sang with DCINY under the baton of Dr. Weymuth at Carnegie Hall.
Linda Krueger, Director of Choral Activities Osage Co. R-2 Schools in Linn, Missouri has taught for 30 years. Mrs. Krueger attended Southwest Baptist University and Central Missouri State University graduating in 1978 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a vocal emphasis.
Mrs. Krueger is a recipient of the Outstanding District Director by the Missouri Choral Director's Association and Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Mrs. Krueger is currently serving as President of the Central District- Missouri Music Educators Association. She holds memberships in Missouri School Teacher's Association, Missouri Music Educators Association and American Choral Directors Association.
