Amarillo Boy Choir (TX)
The Amarillo Boy Choir, founded in 1989, consists of auditioned boys ages 9-14 with unchanged voices. This true treble boy choir has been featured nationally and internationally including performances in St. Peter's Basilica, Salzburg Cathedral and the Canterbury Cathedral. The choir has performed for the American Choral Directors National Convention, the Southwest ACDA Convention, and Texas Music Educators Association Convention.
Jerry D. Perales is currently in his 15th year as the Amarillo
Youth Choirs' Artistic Director. Mr. Perales spent thirty years as a
music educator in Corpus Christi, Azle and Canyon, Texas. He continues
to be an active senior and junior high choral clinician throughout the
state of Texas. He served on the Music and Dance Panel for the Texas
Commission on the Arts. Mr. Perales has been featured as a
tenor/counter-tenor soloist. He graduated from Texas Christian
University having studied with Dr. Bev Henson. He also worked with
Robert Shaw, Paul Salomonovich and other noted choral legends.

Flutopia Wind Ensemble (VA)
Flutopia Wind Ensemble is comprised of high school wind players in and around Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. Members of Flutopia are active in their high school bands, community youth orchestras, and area competitions. The ensemble originated in the fall of 2000 under the direction of the late Judith Lapple who passed away in August 2010. Flutopia wishes to dedicate their debut performance in Carnegie Hall to the life and memory of Judith Lapple, an extraordinary musician and teacher. Judy challenged herself and others to achieve at the highest level. She was that rare human being that impacts everyone within her environment. Her legacy will be carried on in the many lives she touched. "EWO"
Jennifer Lapple, director, is currently working on her Doctorate of Arts in education at George Mason University, and holds flute performance degrees from Miami University (B.M.) and Yale University (M.M.). Jennifer currently performs with FUSE (an ensemble featuring new music), The Pan American Symphony in Washington D.C., and The American Pops Orchestra at George Mason University. Jennifer is a teaching assistant at George Mason University and maintains a private studio in Northern Virginia. She is a strong advocate of music wellness and in assisting musicians in reaching their ideal performing state. Her seminars on music wellness and enrichment have been presented at several conferences and universities in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland.

University of Arkansas Children's Choir (UACC)
The University of Arkansas Children's Choir (UACC) began in 1997 as a dream of Dr. Donna Wiggins, former Professor of Music at the University of Arkansas. There are currently 120 students involved in the UACC from over 20 schools in the Northwest Arkansas area. Choir I is for students in the 3rd through 5th grades. Choir II is for students in the 6th through 8th grades. Under the direction of Candace Davis and her Heather Atwood, the students are taught a wide-range of musicality, including sight-singing, rhythm-reading, harmony and solfege. The groups focus on a diverse repertoire of music including classical, Broadway, Spirituals, folk songs, and pop music.
Candace Davis is the University of Arkansas Children's Choir director as well as a full-time music teacher at The New School in Fayetteville where she teaches 4th through 7th grade music and choir. Mrs. Davis is also the assistant director for the University of Arkansas Inspirational Singers, which is a Gospel choir. Mrs. Davis received her Master's in Music Education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Prior to her position at the U of A, Mrs. Davis was the Fine Arts Pastor at Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville. She was responsible for training and leading all aspects of the choral, instrumental, and arts programs at the church.
