Bostic-Brown's voice has been acclaimed for her "sweet and ethereal" sound-Washington times, Washington, D.C. Recently, Ms. Bostic has appeared with Opera Lousiane as First Lady in The Magic Flute and with The Oklahoma Canterbury Choral Society and Symphony in Bach's B minor Mass. Other role credits include Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia, Violetta in La Traviata, Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte, Madame Lidoine in Dialogues of the Carmelites, Mimi in La Boheme, Beth in Little Women, Mrs. Hayes in Susannah, Nella and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring, Marianne in Tartuffe, Elisetta in Il Matrimnio Segreto and Adele in Die Fledermaus and Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia in March 2009. Ms. Bostic has also performed many symphonic and oratorio works by Bach, Barber, Beethoven, Dvorak, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Poulenc, Rossini, Schubert and Vivaldi with symphonies such as The Washington National Philharmonic, The Baton Rouge Symphony, and The Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Bostic has also enjoyed success in competitions and young artist programs, such as regional finals for three years in The Metropolitan National Council Auditions in the Gulf Coast District and as an apprentice with Des Moines Metro Opera. Ms. Bostic-Brown can be seen in an upcoming performance as Micaela in Carmen with Rapides Symphony and as the Soprano Soloist in Beethovens Ninth Symphony with The Baton Rouge Symphony in 2011.
