Dinos Constantinides' music has been performed and recorded (over 60 CDs) by the English Chamber Orchestra, Nuernberger Symphoniker, and American Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has written 255 compositions, including operas Intimations-winner of two national awards-and Antigone and six symphonies, which have received rave reviews. A graduate of the Juilliard School and the universities of Indiana and Michigan State (Ph.D., Composition), Constantinides also received an honorary doctorate from the University of Macedonia, Greece. He has been named a Distinguished Teacher by the Presidential Scholars program and is presently a Boyd Professor at LSU and Music Director of the Louisiana Sinfonietta.
