Guest Conductor
Thank
you and your whole staff for a wonderful experience this past weekend
at Avery Fisher. Things went off very well, and it was an honor, a
privilege, and a pleasure to work with you again. DCINY's and Avery
Fisher's production staffs were a pleasure to work with, and the
concert went off without a hitch, in a very organized and professional
manner. The acoustics in the hall were really quite good, and reflected
the efforts of the singers and instrumentalists very well. In addition,
it was a distinct pleasure to have the fine singers from Sauherad og
Nes Kantori under the highly capable direction of Roselyn Hanson Webber
join us. Thank you for making that happen, too.
I know
that yesterday represented the close to what has been a very successful
third season for DCINY. Congratulations, and my sincere best wishes for
all good things for you both, your staff, and your venture in the
coming years.
Brava, bravo, and thank you for this exciting opportunity for the
singers of Wright State University, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra
Chorus, and for myself.

I
so appreciate the staff of DCINY. You were all so wonderful to us and
helped to make a very extraordinarily special day even more so. Having
the opportunity to perform in such an incredible venue, and to work
with an outstanding organization such as DCINY was a dream come true. I
thank you again for everything your organization provided to us while
we were in New York. I hope that someday I will be able to return under
similar circumstances, with the opportunity to again be a part of a
DCINY event.
