Dr. Lee Stone has been teaching strings for 33 years, the last 13 years on the faculty of Westminster Christian School (Strings grades 4 - 12). Dr. Stone directs six orchestras at Westminster, four of which annually go to the Florida Orchestra Association's district and state Music Performance Assessment events. The orchestras consistently receive superior ratings. They have performed in Carnegie Hall, Austria, and Prague.

She has served as the State Chairman for the Florida Orchestra Association's 7-8, 9-
10, and 11-12 grade All-State Orchestras. Currently she is chairperson of the State Adjudication Committee. Lee annually adjudicates for the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and various solo/ensemble and district FOA Music Performance Assessment evaluations. She serves as a clinician and guest conductor for various all-county and all-state orchestras and founded the University of Miami (UM) Honor Orchestra. She was awarded the Florida American String Teachers Association Teacher of the Year and is published in Florida Perspectives and the Florida Music Director. Her association with UM is a long one and its music students have been frequent and successful internees at Westminster. She is presently an Adjunct Professor with the University.
