Erika Grace Powell is a Furman University vocal performance graduate and active soloist in various musical genres. Her credits include former Miss South Carolina, 2006 Miss America overall talent winner and top ten finalist, five-time winner of National Association of Teachers of Singing competitions, and recent winner of The Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions for South Carolina. With leading roles in Gianni Schicchi, Pirates of Penzance, and performances in Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann and Verdi's La Traviata at France's "Lyrique en Mer -Festival de Belle Ile", Erika's brilliant resonance, beautiful phrasing, and sparkling high notes foretell of a promising career.
