Director
Alan Combs is currently in his ninth year as Band Director at Coronado High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He received his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and holds Master's Degrees from Lesley University and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Under Mr. Combs' direction, Coronado High School concert and jazz bands have won 1st Place trophies at the Cavalcade of Music in Colorado Springs and the Heritage Festival in Anaheim, California. Personal honors include receiving the Outstanding Jazz Educator Award from the National Band Association, and the Crystal Apple Award.
