Soloist - Tenor

Originally from Santa Ana, California, Tim Proctor received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in 2000 from CSU, Fullerton. Tim, cast to kick off Skagit Opera’s 2006 season, sang his rookie year in the supporting role of Remendado in Carmen. He has been a featured soloist for the Männergesangferein Konzert in Horb, Germany, as well as for St. Moriz in Rottenburg, Germany.

Closer to home, Tim sang for San Diego Opera, Opera Pacific and Seattle Opera. Tim served as Cantor for St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Yorba Linda, California and soloist at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Seattle, Washington. He was awarded membership into Tacoma Opera’s Young Artist Program.

Tim currently teaches pre-algebra for the Santa Ana Unified School District. He was Marco Palmieri in his alma mater’s production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers. He is Cantor and tenor section leader at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Irvine, California.
